I feel lucky to live in County Fermanagh a stone's throw from Lough Erne. I came here on holiday and I never left. It is a beautiful place with clean air, rural views and miles of tranquil rivers and of course there's Lough Erne.
I never take being surrounded by it's natural beauty for granted and it annoys me when I see plastic bottles and wrappers on the waters edge. Actually it makes me really angry!
That's why I've been sourcing environmentally responsible solutions, ethical working practices and having everything made by local people in Northern Ireland/Ireland... Mostly Fermanagh and Donegal.
I love the feeling of silk and finding vegan silk and Ecofabric opened up a new line of homeware and apparel for Les Papillons. There's a growing range of bags and outdoor cushions made from recycled plastic and gorgeous silky scarves and shawls available now. https://lespapillons.co.uk/
