Spend an afternoon in the County Fermanagh countryside studio craft room with artist Caroline Dilworth

Embrace a Giant Spirit painting class for Embrace a Giant Spirit in Fermanagh at Les Papillons, Irvinestown. Tea, cakes and paints. We can get together in groups of 6 and paint, laugh and guzzle tea (or coffee) with cakes and lovely things in my workroom and if the weather is fair outside in the garden. 

So where did the name, "piggy bank", come from? See the three little Fermanagh pigs made by Les Papillons.  

I joined the Women in Business YES YOU CAN Programme last year.  I thought that you might like to know a little about me and how Les Papillons became what it is and hopefully follow to see what will happen next. Tell us about your business and your role within Les Papillons. My business grew from a hobby. I had always loved to paint and had a deep need to be creative. I also loved that feeling I get when someone loves what you do and puts their hand in their pocket to buy what you make. I want them to buy more! Les Papillons is my business. I paint miniatures onto jewellery, predominantly of little landscapes and pet portraits...

There's an abundance of frothy cream Meadowsweet growing along the lane. The air is fragranced with a soft rose-like scent. It is related to the Rose family.  I picked some and I'm hoping that they'll fill the sitting room with their delicate perfume.  For centuries people brought Meadowsweet into their homes for the same purpose, but they also used it to sweeten jams, wine and beer. It flowers at this time of year through to September so perfect timing for harvest time and gathering hedgerow fruits. The name does not refer to the damp meadows you find the flower in.
