I joined the Women in Business YES YOU CAN Programme last year.  I thought that you might like to know a little about me and how Les Papillons became what it is and hopefully follow to see what will happen next. Tell us about your business and your role within Les Papillons. My business grew from a hobby. I had always loved to paint and had a deep need to be creative. I also loved that feeling I get when someone loves what you do and puts their hand in their pocket to buy what you make. I want them to buy more! Les Papillons is my business. Meadowsweet

There's an abundance of frothy cream Meadowsweet growing along the lane. The air is fragranced with a soft rose-like scent. It is related to the Rose family.  I picked some and I'm hoping that they'll fill the sitting room with their delicate perfume.  For centuries people brought Meadowsweet into their homes for the same purpose, but they also used it to sweeten jams, wine and beer. It flowers at this time of year through to September so perfect timing for harvest time and gathering hedgerow fruits. The name does not refer to the damp meadows you find the flower in.
