People who have ventured into County Fermanagh, and to Lough Erne, will have encountered the tower on Devenish, or at least be familiar with it; first built in the 6th century, its legacy has endured various Viking raids and destruction, and has returned as a vibrant parish - now a joyous holiday haven where visitors may ascend the tower to uncover its extensive history. If you haven't yet sampled its marvels, you should certainly do so!
